As you approach the sea, there is a small village “Taureana” where there is the chance to have a guided excursion in the Archaeological Park of Tauriani, which extends to 3 hectares and gives a typical insight into the Roman era. There are several activities that you can enjoy in the marine areas of Palmi.

The small villages of Tonnara and Pietrenere embedded within the magical scenery of what is the Costa Viola, can easily be reached by car (10mins) or by the local bus routes. You can relax on the beautiful sandy beaches and use the beaches facilities that provide everything to make your perfect day.

The quieter, rocky beaches of la marinella are just charming as the Rova Though other beaches are mainly rocky one but not less charming, The deserted fishing hamlet of “la Marinella” with his rocky beaches is just charming, as well as Rovaglioso Cove, (winner of environmental association clean beach Legambiente 2013) which is accessible by a steps down from the ridge.
